Nathan T. McIntyre Joins Elite Group of Business Presenters
Posted On 1/27/2010
Orange County and Inland Empire estate planning attorney and law professor, Nathan T. McIntyre, has joined the elite group of presenters requested by the National Business Institute to provide advanced education opportunities to other lawyers and business professionals who must complete continuing education credits in order to remain certified and licensed.
The National Business Institute is an authorized provider of the International Association for Continuing Education and Training, and a registered member of the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy. They select professional instructors with only the highest level of proficiency in their specialty areas of expertise.
“I am honored that the National Business Institute has requested that I share my knowledge and expertise with other professionals in and connected to accounting, estate planning and trust administration,” McIntyre said.
McIntyre will join with three other professionals to provide instruction to attorneys, accountants, paralegals, trust officers, estate planners, and financial planners at a special continuing education seminar for legal and business professionals. The seminar is offered by the National Business Institute, and will focus on “Probate Practice: The Essential Basics” March 15 at the San Bernardino Hilton.
McIntyre will present segments on spouse’s rights and family maintenance, as well as basic estate tax matters. He will cover a variety of important topics, including homesteads and exempt property, the effects of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, family allowances, tax compliance, estate tax audits, and postmortem planning.
“It is important for legal and financial professionals to stay on top of changes to the law and modern planning options that have effected the often complicated areas of probate proceedings and estate tax compliance,” said McIntyre.
McIntyre is an adjunct professor of estate planning law at the University of La Verne College of Law, known as a foremost authority in estate planning, trust administration, and probate law. He is the founder of McIntyre Law Group, which maintains offices in Redlands and Huntington Beach. He obtained his law degree from the University of Southern California. He is a member of the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys, the American Bar Association, and the State Bar of California. He devotes his practice to estate planning and trust administration matters, and has helped thousands of people meet their long-term estate and financial goals.
“There are so many benefits to proper estate planning, and I want to share that information, whether it is helping fellow professionals advance their knowledge and expertise, or helping clients preserve their assets and secure their legacies,” McIntyre said.
