Nathan T. McIntyre Joins Faculty of University of La Verne College of Law

Local attorney Nathan T. McIntyre has joined the faculty of the University of La Verne College of Law. McIntyre will serve as an adjunct professor and begin teaching estate planning law to the students at the Ontario campus in January.

 

“Many areas of the law are ever changing, and this is especially true when it comes to estate planning law and modern estate planning practices. It is important for law students to learn about the crucial aspects of estate planning law, and the mechanisms that are available to help people protect their assets and preserve their legacy,” said McIntyre.

 

McIntyre received his law degree from the University of Southern California. Before starting his private practice in estate planning, he served as a litigation attorney for Ford Motor Company. He is the owner and principal attorney of McIntyre Law Group, with offices in Redlands and Huntington Beach. He devotes his practice exclusively to estate law, probate law, and elder law planning.

 

“These areas of the law are commonly undergoing changes as the Baby Boomer generation matures to retirement, life expectancy continues to increase, economic variables become unpredictable, and political climates shift at the national level,” McIntyre said.

 

McIntyre is also a member of the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys - the premier national educational organization that promotes excellence in estate planning by providing member attorneys with research and vital updates in estate planning, tax law and business law.

 

“The American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys sets very high standards for its members. These standards are also a part of the curriculum at La Verne University College of Law, and they are the standards that need to be learned and met by new attorneys if they hope to succeed,” said McIntyre.
