McIntyre Law Group Assists Local Organizations

Posted On 5/22/2009

REDLANDS - Local estate planning attorney Nathan T. McIntyre has been visiting with local service organizations in an effort to help educate their members about the available options for protecting their assets and securing their personal legacies. The free presentations provide a brief overview of the importance of avoiding conservatorship and probate proceedings, keeping assets secured, charitable giving, and preserving personal wishes.

“It is always amazing to me how man people there are who are not aware of the valuable legal options they have available to them to help them avoid government intervention into their lives and their estates,” said McIntyre.

McIntyre has most recently visited with the Redlands Knights of the Round Table, Loma Linda Valley Kiwanis, Yucaipa Rotary Club, and San Bernardino Sunset Rotary Club to explain essential estate planning components such as living wills, family trusts, health care directives, HIPAA and DocuBank coverage, powers of attorney, IRA and asset protection, pour-over wills, estate planning letters, legacy preservation, and the importance of charitable giving.

“Many members of service clubs belong to their organization because they have a desire to give something back to their community. These clubs do great things for others in need. I want to help them better achieve those goals through their estate planning as well,” McIntyre said.

Throughout his years as an estate planning attorney, McIntyre has assisted hundreds of clients with their plans to remember their favorite charities through their estate planning. He is an expert in charitable remainder annuity trusts and charitable remainder unitrusts.

“Part of a person’s lasting legacy is their contribution to the causes and institutions that are near and dear to them. Many of my clients make a lasting impact by establishing a comprehensive estate plan that includes giving back to their service club, place of worship, alma mater, or favorite charity,” said McIntyre.

McIntyre is always available to make special presentations to the members of any church or organization who wish to learn more about ways to secure the future of their organization through proper planning. His brief summary presentation is perfect for morning and lunch meetings, but he is also available to give full educational seminars at special presentations.

“My clients tell me that they feel a special sense of accomplishment and peace of mind when they know that their estate plan is going to benefit not only them and their families, but also the causes and the organizations that have meant so much to them during their lives,” McIntyre said.

McIntyre has a law degree from the University of Southern California, as well as undergraduate degrees in philosophy and music. He has helped thousands of local families protect, preserve and pass on their hard-earned wealth through wise estate planning decisions. He is a noted speaker on estate planning, and regularly speaks to community groups and nonprofit organizations. He has devoted his law practice primarily to estate planning, and his consumer-friendly estate planning seminars are said to be informative, entertaining and easy to understand.

McIntyre Law Group is a member of the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys with offices in Redlands and Huntington Beach. The Academy has been highly recommended by Money magazine, Consumer Reports, and in the pages of Suze Orman’s “The 9 Steps to Financial Freedom.” To request a presentation or for additional information: (866) 669-9266 or online at www.mcintyrelawgroup.com.
